Location: Manton, Wiltshire. Ollie Sangster set up as trainer in 2023 having gained valuable experience with an array of master trainers, including Wesley Ward in the US, Joseph O’Brien in Ireland, David Hayes in Australia and Charlie Hills in Lambourn.
He is based on the picturesque Manton Estate near Marlborough, which is one of the finest private training establishments in the world. The Sangster family have had a long and successful history at Manton since its acquisition by Robert Sangster in 1984.
Ollie has had a fantastic start to his training career, saddling 11 winners and counting in his first season. His stable star Shuwari won the Star Stakes (Listed) at Sandown and was placed second in the Fillies’ Mile (Gr 1).
