Highclere had the honour of hosting friends at the magnificent London townhouse of jewellery designer Jessica McCormack, Carlos Place, Mayfair last week. It was a delight to be surrounded by her beautiful jewellery and art, but also apt to be here as the brand carries some lovely connections to racing.
Jessica’s father raced horses in her native New Zealand, and Jessica’s business partner Rachel Slack has racing connections that span generations.
Rachel’s mother Mary Oppenheimer, breeds and races thoroughbreds on an international stage – a doyenne of racing in South Africa her influence and expertise have made a lasting impact on the sport, and she continues to inspire many within the racing community.
